Nina Flohr and Prince Philippos wedding: Bride dazzles in white Chanel gown

Both British and European royals were in attendance as the happy couple wed in the Greek capital’s Metropolitan Cathedral. Among the members of the British Royal Family were sisters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

The Swiss businesswoman opted for a traditional white gown by none other than Chanel.

The dress featured a v-neckline and was cinched in at the waist with a neatly tied bow.

A long veil was attached to the dress and kept in place by Nina’s diamanté tiara and low bun hairdo.

The groom wore a grey suit and a navy-blue and white polka dot tie.

Prince Philippos is the youngest child of the last king and queen of Greece, Constantine II and Anne-Marie.

He was named after his cousin and godfather, the Duke of Edinburgh.

The late Princess Diana was also his godmother, whom he often saw while growing up in London with his four older siblings, Princess Alexia, Crown Prince Pavlos, Prince Nikolaos, and Princess Theodora.

Philippos and Nina were the first royal couple to wed in the Metropolitan Cathedral yesterday since the King and Queen of Greece’s wedding in 1964.

Although Nina’s dress was Chanel, she did pay tribute to her new mother-in-law by wearing a tiara belonging to her on her special day.

The Antique Corsage Tiara was gifted to Anne-Marie on her 18th birthday from her mother, Queen Ingrid of Denmark.

Made from a pearl and diamond corsage brooch, the tiara was inherited by Ingrid from her grandmother, Queen Victoria of Sweden.

Anne-Marie has scarcely worn the tiara over the years, but it was given to other royals on loan.

In 1995, the jewel was worn by Crown Princess Marie Chantal for her wedding to Anne-Marie’s eldest son, Pavlos.

It has also been worn by the King and Queen of Greece’s youngest daughter, Princess Theodora.
