UnidosNow’s board of directors has announced the promotion of associate executive director, Cintia Elenstar, to the position of executive director following the recent retirement of Luz Corcuera. Elenstar joined the organization in 2019 and has been groomed for this leadership role over the past three years as part of a board-led succession plan.
The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce recently announced that Ed Hill has been named vice-president. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the membership, events, and communication initiatives of the Sarasota Chamber. This position oversees strategy, programs, communications, funding, budget, working with community partners and special projects.

The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature has announced that Andrew M. Sandall had been appointed the new CEO of the museum. Sandall will succeed interim CEO Charles Zajaczkowski and assume his new responsibilities on March 6, 2023. Additionally, the Bishop Museum also appointed Kamala Martinez its chief philanthropy officer.
Kelly Malloy has been named the new chief operating officer at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. In her new role, she will lead emergency services, rehabilitation, pharmacy and cardiovascular services at the hospital.

Kathleen Sullivan, vice-president of programs at Children First, has been elected to serve on the National Head Start Association’s (NHSA) Region IV Board of Directors. Sullivan will help oversee Head Start’s Region IV, the southeastern United States, which represents more than 170,000 children, 40,000 staff and 300 member programs.
